The Five Factor Model of Neuroticism
Neuroticism is the N, extraversion is the E-O and A is for agreeableness. Extroversion is really whether somebody has an external or internal control over how much of it they do. Neuroticism is looking at how one tends to experience how quickly and strongly one experiences negative emotions. You want to have some degree of negative emotions so that you're aware when negative circumstances occur.
