The setting of the robin hood story in king richard's reign comes from this chronicle i mentioned, early john major. And he says, to his best estimate, as he says, that the stories were set in the reign of richard the lion. I excuse richard of this as a negative thing because he had very important interests that served the country by fighting in france. So prince john then become a bad guide, because when richard is away and on the noble and pious cause of crusade, they saw it in the middle ages. When there's something wrong with the country, in the middle Ages, a people would protest against the king's evil counsellors.
