decentralized finance is an excibstential threat to our current commercial banks. Traditional banks like j p morgan and bank of america look at this as a cannibalization of their business. So for them to be a leader in thi spase is fraught with risk, because thei're basically if they jump into this, it means that their role will be a much smaller role in the future. There's like a whole new eco system out therea that is its driven by economists and computer scientists to essentially rebuild our financial system.
