What Was the Difference Between Essential and Yahoo?
At Yahoo, my manager gave me full freedom. Even though it was a startup inside a big company, you still have the backing of a big company. I wanted to take a chance because that you want to do it early in your career. As you grow older, it becomes slightly harder every time to take that chance. The project was very appealing. I thought I learned a ton, which I did. And I was going to be the first engineer to join a company. That's another thing that you look for when going for a startup.
