The Great Recession Is Extension, or It Was Extended by the American Revolution?
The english are just reasserting rights that they had possessed in one form or another for 500 some odd years. You don't need recourse to a state of nature to understand that government is obligated to do certain things, and when it doesn't do those things, you're allowed to get rid of emmean. That's what the american revolution is doing. I'm not sure how much locke is required. The other thing about locke, too, is that, to what extent, is it just a description of life in America as it actually was? And do you really need a theorist to explain that?
