The Jury's Decision to Kill a Woman in Hong Kong
The jury believed that the death was not intentional. They didn't think that these people wanted her to die, which I think is worse. But because there was no body, they were convicted of manslaughter, not murder. In December of 2000, they were sentenced to life in prison, but with the possibility of parole in 20 years.
