I didn't know anyone who had built a soundproof studio. And so I went down this crazy journey of reading a book called home recording studio, build it like the pros. From there found a contractor and was like, all right, let's do this. He even tried to stay away from the math, but it still came out as this very engineers mind type of way of teaching. But in the end you're faced with these really mundane decisions. It's just a trip to Home Depot.
