When I got to Pittsburgh in 2015, this is when UPMC was in this turf war with the insurer Highmark, which was buying up hospitals. The sale of the Pittsburgh Post Gazette was briefly banned in UPMC gift shops and cafeterias because of its coverage. It was a really weird time, but it really brought home to me like something that I found in your book.
