The Myth of the Paul-Bunging
In the 1880s, Paul-Bunging men worked 16 to 18 hour days. Their reputation around camp was based on how much they worked. There's some talk of drinking in the camps, but not a lot. The most manual labor at my job is picking up books about the people that do the actual manual labor.
