The Impossible Gift of God

The Israelites forget that this is the God who has delivered it in from Egypt. And then, you know, they pull up against this land and they're like, I don't know. But he's promised that because he's the one who fights for them, then their victory is certain. He wants you, he wants them to confront death. Life is hard, life is suffering. You're going to die. But nevertheless, Christ has risen and your sins are forgiven. And eternal life is promised to you. So you've got these twin realities at play here.
