The Importance of Indoctrination
"It took me years of being out of it to finally sort of wrap my brain around, oh, you know what? Now I really remember what happened to me," she says. "When you're a young person like this and you've been indoctrinated in this way, you don't understand that there is a way to not believe the things we are told about our God." She believes children should be taught how to think and to progressively learn to trust their judgment.
