Judge means redeemer. It means someone think like a saviour. And that is what these 12 judges in the book of judges are their purpose. Even though, as we have already noted, theyare not perfect. That doesn't mean what they're doing is good. One last note on the book of ruth. We only have four chapters to day and then the following three days, we have one chapter each day for the next three days of the book of Ruth.
