i try to examine three logics that we usually see in terrorism studies. One is the strategic logic, suggesting that terrist organizations operate in order to advance strategic objectives. A second is a organizationa logic, which suggests that an organization is trying focus on what will be best for the organization rather than political objective. And the third one focuses on ideology. So when you think about what might lead alcaida to choose a certain arena, you can think about ideology.
