Genomics can be really helpful in answering lots of health questions, but it's not a one-size-fits-all solution. We have to also concentrate on improving people's lifestyles and general well-being. How can genomics contribute to agriculture? Good question. It's already taking place in countries across Africa, for example. They can use gene editing to make certain crops and food items grow better. The WHO has confirmed that there is no health risk to the modified foods.
