The Prebok Rebellion
The Prebok rebellion is the name that it's most widely known about by today. The government obviously called it a rebellion and they called the protesters rebels. Ordinary people in the West Country called it something rather different which was the commotion. What the actual protesters themselves would have called it we really don't know because we have so little from them but it would have probably been some sort of something along the lines of a petition or they were petitioners or protesters. That's probably how they saw themselves.
