63% of adult female homicides are committed by current husbands and boyfriends or ex-husbands and ex-boyfriends. More than 3000 women are murdered in the United States every year. In March 2013, a young Chickapee man made a bizarre phone call to 911 after he received an email from a friend confessing to murdering a woman back in 2011.
