How Did You Process Your Autism Diagnosis?
I was very interested to read about your diagnosis, because it was a bit later in life. I'd lived with this sense of dissonance throughout my whole life that I knew I wasn't the same as like the other girls in my class. When I was a kid, there is nothing that would have got me an autism diagnosis. Like it was not available. And if it had been from people I know of my age who did get a diagnosis when they were younger, it was actually often quite catastrophic. It's grief, but it's also catharsis. To live that, it's an amazing, amazing process.
