Common Control Systems vs. Higher Level OSI Pyramid
Addison: I really can't say that I didn't like doing controls work. Like I was pretty good at it when I did do it. Did a lot of PLC programming back in the day, like motion control, stuff like that. Data approach drove me more towards the MES side of the versus sticking to what you would typically consider like classical controls engineering. Here at Vertec, we have people who mainly come from either chemical engineering, mechanical engineering and electrical engineering way more than we have any type of like software engineers.
