The Story of a Yazidi in a Camp

Baha'sard is a Yazidi businessman who set up an organisation called Kinyat to rescue the kidnapped women and children. He would infiltrate Telegram group posing as a member of IS to gather information on where they were being held. The money to rescue them was raised by relatives, businessmen, and charities. Baha'sard himself managed to rescue fifty-five people. There are around 2,700 Yazidis still missing but it looks harder to locate now that IS has melted into surrounding countries. And in meantime, those rescued have been living with 120,000 other displaced Yazidis in tents for nine years.
