The Local Rule, a Local Rule

A group in japan discovered another quasi crystal. This one could be grown in large nuggets, beautifully faceted with de fractioned spots that were pin point and when you measured them, were dead on to what the quasi crystal picture would have predicted. These materials had theadvantge, and that's why he could get those things. They could be grown very, very slowly, the way we grow very highly perfect crystals. But they didn't crystallize, so we don't know for sure if they're stable to all temperatures. As far as we could measure in the laboratory, they seem to be stable.
