The hardened positions of candidates on the issue of abortion is killing the Republican party, especially in swing states. Doug Maustriano lost by a record number of percentage of the vote to a non-incumbent because he didn't even have an exception for rape in the mother's life. Tudor Dixon, same thing. I like her personally, but the tape was out there for saying that, and they just beat the crap out of it. And Democrats now are trying to exploit that as their number one issue.
