The Cabinet of Curiosities

In the 1920s, Thomas Bradford set out to prove the unprovable by doing the unthinkable. He believed that once he reached the afterlife, he'd be able to communicate with the still alive Ruth Doran. After sealing his apartment, he turned on his heater and blew out the pilot light. The police soon discovered his body and questioned Ms. Doran about her involvement. She later told the press, If he can come back to earth, I believe his spirit will come to me first.
