We get signals that are sent back by either we're getting profits or we end up by getting the penalty of losses which means oh man I got to rethink my behavior. The market is this constant entrepreneurial recognition of the opportunities that need to be pursued. It makes us want to produce things like Amazon at a lower cost and a better quality because if we don't, someone else is going to beat us to it.
