Pneumonic plague is a human to human scenario of transmission. It kills so quickly that you can infect your whole household very efficiently. But it's not an efficient way if you're out in a caravan or travelling through mountains, moving through deserts. The largest land empire in human history seems to coincide with the largest pendemic in human history. And i was asking the question, are humans involved in that process? And the answer i came up with is yes.
