San Long Kitty and the Nazis

The only previous book about San Long Kitty was a book that was published in the early 70s. In it, Peter Norden told us that Kitty had been an anti-Nazi and indeed had tried to escape to Britain late in the 30s when she could see that the war was coming. She helped Jewish people, her neighbors, several of her neighbors were deported to their deaths in concentration camps. And we know that she helped one particular woman who was given a false identity and worked as a kitchen assistant in the kitchens of the brothel. We have a copy of her false ID card, and she escaped and survived the Holocaust.
