I think what you mentioned about optogenetics is actually a great transition into talking more about the brain and your work with BCIs. Yeah so I guess for anyone who doesn't know what BCIs are they're essentially just like different ways you can interface with the brain does like brain computer interface. It's any method in which you can you receive kind of brain signals or neural information in any shape or form and then use that to control something physical like a car for example. So when we can record these chemical signals what we can do is we can say well this certain range of hertz is correlated with some sort of movement or thing that we're thinking about and whenever we break that threshold
