Curtis: It seems very clear to me that most Americans probably the vast majority of Americans are not only not interested in being democratic but they're not interested in politics at all now. He says if public opinion counted more even foreign policy, rule war three would be a lot less terrifying and QAnon or no QAnon I think there are lots of wildly irrational things that people believe. Curtis: The history of labor unions is sort of a very good way to discuss the difference between populism and progressivism because when it comes out with its real populist shit people don't really care about their own lives.
