I think we understand foreign policy and weshou in a different way. So if you ask, why did the us? Go to irac? What was trying to accomplish in afghanistan? I mean, the answer is probably not much. There were short term political decisions made based on certain beliefs and ideas and political interests of the actors involved. But there was no person at the top, sort of a a making everything a sort of the us. And i argue that in area after area a, the latter approach works better.
