How to Get Long and Get Short on the Market
Jeremy Clifford asked Michael Koval if he had any examples of when a signal said, you know, get long or get short and your gut was just like, no way, this is insane, but it's your system. Man, that's on the spot. I'm trying to remember a specific example. One of them I believe was the market timing signal that I got to buy mutual funds off of the bottom action after the 87 crash. It turns out if you bought in right after that crash it did nothing but go up for a year or so,. You just have to shake your head and go, oh boy this would be interesting, but you got to follow the strategy.
