flavor doesn't fit neatly into any sylos. It relates to anthropology and an soatic part of the issue is that in many different fields, it's kind of at the edge of the field. Because the fields are all divided up, it's easy to miss that its actually more central. But then there's also this part about pleasure not being serious. And i think maybe something too, for flavor and deliciousness.
