The Rise of the Centre Right in Italy
Silver Berlusconi, the billionaire tycoon often compared to Trump and so on, he gave a speech in 2019 where he said well in the 1990s I brought the fascists into government. Over time he you know why he had a dominant position in the right wing coalition in the 90s and 2000s that's kind of ebbed particularly in the post 2008 crisis period. It bears obvious comparison with the way in which George W. Bush,. out his legacy has been sort of reinterpreted by parts of the US sort of centrist and centre right in the wake of Trump.
