Is This Your Worst Client?

If it's one of my own songs, i can just hold back for a couple of days and listen again. Or if it's for a client, i try and not get it completely done. Your job isn't to undercook, over cook or perfectly cook a mix. It's to make your client happy. So judging by their response, you'll know where you need to go from then. If we proceed on that assumption that he's mixing his own music, and then you're scratching yourhead, saying, have i overcooked this? I would say you've lost perspective and you need to shift gears to something else for a while. Work on a different song, bring another
