The Most Important Lesson Being Done at School

Last month, a 14-year-old died after suspected opioid overdose in an Arlington, Virginia high school. The school district immediately took action with the rare step of requiring all secondary school teachers to learn how to use naloxone. Nationwide, fatal overdoses and young people jumped 123 percent from 2019 to 2021.
