I Love My Coding Job, but It's Not, You Know, There Isn't One
I worry a lot, you know, when we talk about coding in the movement to get everyone to code that it's romanticized and that the expectations are very high. And what I found is the vast majority of programming is just maintaining crappy software that's really old. The cost to entry for creating a product that someone else will buy is super low in programming. It's pretty much just your time and a server. But if you're just working a boring day job and then you go home and work on something exciting, like a video game or a website you really need? You can turn it into an actualLike job that you run and you own it yourself.
