The Rise of Cross-Chain Bridge Attacks
Moody's Investors Service has released a report detailing cross-chain bridge attacks and the need for blockchains to institute more security against such threats. Attacks on cross-chain bridges last year saw losses of upwards of two billion dollars. The cyberwar is targeting Poland and the Baltic and Nordic countries in particular with an increasing focus on critical national infrastructure including aviation, energy, healthcare, banking and public services.
