Benoit Mandel brought wrote about it in the 1960s that if you do study a series of prices and almost whatever you want commodities or currencies or even equities. There are these relatively infrequent but very large scale events and you have to take these things somehow into consideration when you're investing. Mike: It's not so much that there's anything that's particularly revealed that's new but there's sort of a nonlinearity in price movements which does tend to take people by surprise.
