Launch scout co-founder and consultancy founder is working on an e-commerce solution for static sites. He says he's been building a solution to that in the last couple months. It uses two different custom elements there is an add item custom element and a cart custom element. They will manage finding each other and able to declaratively mark one of those elements as kind of owning the state and sharing it with the other elements.
