What's the Role of the United States in Changing the Status Quo?
The two sides now have pretty different levels of interest in changing the status quo. I mean, any solution would require dealing with a bunch of stuff that is just going to be very complicated for arab states. And you know, the arab states, there was a time when they showed a lot of solidarity with the palestinian cause, but that has really drifted away. Other than the shared ethnicity, language and to some extent, religion, is just not a priority. But these places are right next to each other, which is a way that the conflict has been engineered,. which makes it like kind of unsolvable.
