i'm obviously more than happy to have this interview and thus offer our audience a close at luco to this remarkable book. Could you please tell us a bit about your acanemic life and the previous work you have in doing sure? So i was born in costarica, where i grew up. And i a was driin high school and into college, i was involved with a number of environmental organizations. Before a going into anthropology, i i was part of a an engio that focused on community organizing near national parks or protected areas. I also had an interest in environmental law, and i ended up coming to the united states for my master's degree.
