Can You Do Everything?
For women in particular I think the obvious question is can you have a family, can you do everything? And I'll say in some fields it's tougher to do everything but yeah you can. It's a lot easier now than it was when I was training and when I was trained it was a lot easier than 10 years before so things are getting better. So residency though doesn't have to be as miserable. But if you're truly passionate about something like neurosurgery then maybe that's short-sighted on some levels.
