iad learned economics in my engineering, and so sort of merging economics with which engineering was relatively easy. And when i went to berkeley, i continued to want to do work on a energy and forest related questions, in an interdecipitary manner. So that's how thatte master's thesis was structured. That was my first limet encefor into interdisciplinary work. The more difficult part, as you knows, is understanding the non economic social sciences. And i had absolutely no training in them.
