It's okay to want a girlfriend, but it's not okay to obsess about it. If you start leaking over toward the obsession side of this equation, get busy doing something you're passionate about. You can go on a mission trip as an 18 year old through your local church after fundraising. These are good passionate things for an 18-year-old to start directing energy towards.
