CNN's John Sutter talks with Danielle Defterios about her new book, "Co-ordinated Violence in the Middle East," which is being published by Simon & Schuster. She argues that we can't invoke a right to health without accounting for sustained persistent terror and violence as it is differentially distributed according to different understandings of how risk is going to be levied on the population. The author says she hopes people will take this opportunity to consider what COVID means from their own lived experiences.
