Lee Anderson is the new deputy chairman of the Conservative Party. He has become known, some would say notorious, for a series of pugilistic stances he's taken on everything from food banks to EU Human Rights Convention. One serving Tory MP messaged me to say that Lee Anderson is everything that is wrong with the Conservative brand presently. If this is the new Tory party, many will be forgiven for deserting it.
