Isn't It Just Like the Knee Jerk Reaction Today?

It was interesting during that movement, because the scriptures became so much more readily available because of the printing press. They would actually chain their Bibles up, not because nobody could read them, but because they were worth as much as a house. And it became more important about what you thought about the scriptures than what was said covenantally or in worship. I want to ask this question, but isn't it just like the knee jerk reaction today? If there's an issue, what do we do? We have a conference. You Jesus and maybe the Holy Spirit, that's all that matters. Not politics.
