Introduction

Ibn Hisham gives the whole story in detail, that after the battle of Badr, Safwan ibn Umayyah was killed. His father and brother were dragged to his death by a man who thought he had gone crazy. This is one of the most interesting assassination attempts upon the life of the prophet Salaam.
