The Book of Revelation and Futurism

The book of revelation was initially understood by first and second century jews. The apostolc fathers, i like papius and justin martyr and irinaeus all expected and interpreted the book of revelation as a fundamentally futuristic reality. But also, i just have to bring up this point that is super annoying. If you're familiar with any modern teachers, especially preterists like inty ride and other guys, they they will often just say in passing that futurism didn't exist until the nineteenth century.
