How Did the Golden Age of Satisfaction Come to an End?
Alice, how did this golden age of satire then come to an end? So it's a traumatic end, really, because I don't want to give too much away. Nelson, Pitt, Charles Fox, Dutch, the Devil and Schis all kind of suddenly disappear in 1805, 1806. Several of the artists themselves go off the scene in very dramatic ways,. A mixture of madness and suicide and drinking far too much.
