Aman and the Duke of Somerset in Edward the Sixth
The lord protector for edward the sixth is some one named edward seymour, duke of somerset. Aman immediately ends any discussion about it. So he wants to save his life. And orchestrates the rehabilitation of seymour and brings him back on the council. However, then a seymour sort of takes that too far. Even admits in his trial that he thought about having john dudley killed. When he falls a second time, john does have him executed. But you can see that this is not a very straightforward process.
