85% of women in Africa are working in vulnerable employment. They grow 80% of the continent's food but have no entitlement to that land. What happened to the notion of potential? My point is that when a woman has been socialised into, I don't want to use a word oppressed, right? That doesn't mean that that's all there is to her. It's not all African societies that practice female genital middleism.
